The Oliver Elks are members of The Royal Purple, a national, fraternal, charitable organization who identify and address community needs through the volunteer efforts of its members. Their mission statement is "To be a leading, national organization helping children, our communities, and offering personal development."
To qualify in being a member of The Royal Purple one must be at least 14 years of age, be a resident of Canada, support democratic and lawful government and the purposes and objects of the Order.
The Oliver Elks hold meat draws and 50/50 draws every Sunday and Wednesday at 4pm, their lounge opens daily at 2:30 pm, and their general meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
